A tee design that hopes to encompass most of Jaejoong's tattoos, except the wing-like ones which I've excluded...
The cool thing is I can still add on stuff later on if he decides to add more body art to his body... ^_^

i juz got my parcel from beccas' mum this morning!!! ;-)

i woke up n was getting ready to sit down to have breakfast then my mum told me there was a parcel for me, cos it couldn't fit int e mailbox, e mailman brought it up to our house...

n of cos i went all excited n was scolded for behaving like my hamster, by my mum... cos my hamster rushes to e door of her cage everytime we go near, anticipating some food from us...

i could only open it up and admired the photobook n e postcards, n played a short clip from each dvd...

can't wait to go back n finish watching it all!!! ;-)

i managed to find a second-hand copy with the help of some new friends...

and its on it way to me from England, as i am typing this...

and remember i order roy's dvd and pictorial book...

and i was waiting for yesasia to ship them out...

i finally saw an email today from them, and the dvd is on its way to me too...

i am so excited now...

i will have 200% energy for tmr's and sat's shoot...

cos i have 2 of my fave men "coming" to me soon...

my All About Dong Bang Shin Ki: Special Edition (Region-3 / 3 DVD Set) is gone....

i have searched high and low for this dvd...

n i found one site selling at this site, i dun wanna name it.... and after i've placed my order... and after 2 weeks' wait, seeing my order put on hold...

i receive an email frm them saying it's not available... making me so depressed and disappointed that i'm typing this now...

i mean they could have stated it was out of stock or something earlier... and not make me wait for 2 whole weeks and then tell me it's out of stock...

now i try to go back to some other sites where i saw it at, and now everything's gone...

if i'd know earlier my order was out of stock, i could have gotten it from the other remaining sites...

now i can only find the japan version normal edition now...

but not the international version with 3 DVD & subtitles...

i called HMV and the person was talking to me like she got so many calls on the same item that she was getting sick of replying to us...

so i know a lot of fans haven't managed to get it and it's all out of stock, and some people are selling them at jacked-up and exorbitant prices... going as high as S$128...

but even those were not available now...

would really love to get it, but cos i am a new fan, i didn't know of this till this year...

and by then it's already been selling for a year...

would really appreciate it if SM Entertainment can re-release this DVD for the fans of TVXQ...

or if SOMEONE can tell me where i can get this??!!!

mini makeover for my blog...

cos i juz bought the TVXQ Rising Sun concert DVD...

limited edition i think...

cos there was a clear card with their pics, and a 50 page photo book along with the 2 dvd box set...

fortunately for me...

everything was subtitled in mandarin...

i could understand what they were singing, and what they were saying...

too bad max's solo performance could not be included because of copyright issues cos he sang a Michael Jackson song...

i guess for xiah it was fine, since blue are under warner music too.. same music label as them...

and too bad jaejoong's leg just recovered, so he couldn't dance along with the guys, and the masked boy did his dances for him while he was elevated here and there while the rest danced on stage... poor thing, can tell he really wanted to dance together with them, cos he was moving to the music, but cos of his injury he couldn't do it...

and since I was in a good mood... i'd be in a even better mood if i know that my "all about dong bang shin ki" dvd box set is being shipped out to me... but it's still put on hold...

anywayz, i decided to have a mini makeover for my blog...

changed the header and the overall design...

something that's more suited for the hot summer weather we are experiencing nowadays...

something cooling...

After a mad-woman like search online n in SG for this...

I finally found a trustworthy site that still sells this limited edition box set..





Words cannot express my joy...

I am now waiting for it to be shipped out and sent to my doorstep...

Can't wait...

Then I can sing karaoke of their songs...

Basically I want Jaejoong's cooking pot t-shirt...

I don't need the entire collection...

I just want Jaejoong's...

Though I also kind of like Junsu's design also... But... I shall just go with Jaejoong's...

It's got his fave past time cooking (represented by the cooking pot), and I think the face is his, with the hair jutting out at the sides... And I think the NO!! message is cute... how to not be stressed when you are on top of fire???? ha hah ha... ;-)



I've already done the measurements...


I think I can wear it...

But with a price tag of S$35.36...

I've finally bought the repackaged version of Vol 3 with the Vacation drama today...

And I finally found their newest Jap album...

So of cos I HAD to buy it...

I found a small shop selling ALL Korean foodstuff at Burlington Square today...

It's called SHINE Korea...

It's a really small shop at an obscure corner near the door to carpark Lift 4, if you want to find it...

I think there's a side door that faces the street also...

Address is 175 Bencoolen Street #01-10/11 Burlington Square...

Anywayz I entered this shop wanting to buy REAL kimchi...

Cos the powder I bought last time from Daiso to make kimchi turned out quite bad...

Maybe cos my mum bought the wrong type of vegetable...

She didn't buy cabbage...

She bought something else...

And I used the ENTIRE package of 6 packets of powder...

It still didn't taste anywhere near kimchi...

But the Japanese cucumbers tasted good in the marinate powder...

So if you wanna try the kimchi powder from Daiso... Just use it on Japanese cucumbers...

Anywayz, I went in and I was looking around for Kimchi then I see from the corner of my eye, a red box that looked similar to the one that Fe and I saw in the idol shop at Level 9 Cineleisure (it's at an obscure corner INSIDE the gaming area). So I got all excited and I dashed over to try to secure that box...

Only to have the shop assistant tell me that there are more over at the shelf, cos I was tiptoeing and trying very hard to push the box down, since it had other boxes of stuff on top of it.

Then I walked over to the shelf, and WOW!!!

There were like tonnes of the box sets!!!

And what's more...

They were selling them cheaper than the idol shop...

In my spur of the moment excitement, I decided to grab one box...

Making my boss grab one box too, cos of my excitement...

AND ANOTHER old lady was so interested in my box, cos I was holding two and comparing... She asked me what they were and how many boxes there were inside the box set...

I said I don't know...

Then as I whizzed around the shop trying to find my kimchi, and even when I was queuing to pay up, the old lady was still bugging me on the box set that I was purchasing...

BUT in the end, she didn't buy it...

I think she didn't feel secure buying something when you don't know how many packets are inside the bigger box...

And all the text are in Korean...

I also bought 2 packets of kimchi instant noodles $0.70 each, and 2 packets of Chacharoni 杂酱面 instant noodles $0.90 each.

And my purchases round up to a very nice $50...

Silly me was still waiting for change then I realised when I looked at my receipt that my purchases were $50 exactly...

Finally....

My long-awaited package from Yesasia.com has FINALLY arrived on Tuesday!!!!

Now I finally understand the meaning of waiting anxiously for something, and when that thing arrives, you just feel fantastic!!!

Well, I was kinda expecting the package to arrive next week (14 days from my online purchase date), and it kinda turned up suddenly in just 1 week's time!!!

So if you can imagine my expression when I reached home, and I saw this huge package on the table....

I just screamed and started ripping the package open!!!

My mum thought I'd gone bonkers or something...

Yes it's uncommon for one to be so excited when you receive mail...

BUT when it's something that you have been ANXIOUSLY PINNING for....

You sort of understand why I have that kind of OTT reaction...

Nevertheless, after checking out everything from the package...

I've finally realised that.....

Christmas carols are the most beautiful thing on planet earth that God can ever give to us...

Especially when it's in acappella...

And when you so blessed to have "angels" to sing them to you...

Gosh I feel so happy and joyful now...

Too early for Christmas as yet...

But am already in the mood...

TVXQ's Christmas Album "Christmas Gift From Dong Bang Shin Ki"

TVXQ's 2007 Planner....

Yes, it's a bit weird getting a planner at this time of the year...

Considering I'll only be getting the parcel in about 2 weeks' time, which will be early March already...

But after looking at it for so many times, and pondering over and over again...

I figured I'd better get it now, or it'll be more weird later in the year...

No doubt the price might drop even further...

Considering HMV are already selling 2007 calendars at $0.95 in Feb... When they were sold at $19.95 in late 2006, and $4.95 in Jan...

I'd figured that they won't drop the price any further...

But there's ALSO a possibility of them NOT selling them anymore... Which is worst...

And the X'mas album is from 2005, so strictly speaking it's a rather old album... But the price is still at $20++, so I don't think there'll be any further reduction...

AND this X'mas album is ENTIRELY by them, so nothing like the SM Town compilations sold during X'mas, which only features one PATHETIC song by them, and the annual SM Town X'mas song... So despite there being only about 8 songs, I think it's still a much better deal than the SM Town compilations...

Moreover I feel that SM Entertainment is really sucking TVXQ fans dry...

4 DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF the "O - 正。反。合。" album alone...

- Version A: comes with a 32-page Photobook (featuring TVXQ in Prague)

- Version B: comes with a DVD (making of "O" MV, extended version of "O" MV, interviews of each TVXQ member during their photo shoot in Prague, an "self-filmed" message to fans by TVXQ, & 2 exclusive wallpapers)
(* I bought this from CD-Rama, after the salesman insisted that the other versions are not available in Singapore, only in Korea & Japan. And a few months later, I see them appearing slowly one by one... So ironic... But the good thing is I see Jaejoong trying to change the tape during the interview and message to fans that they supposedly "filmed themselves"... They are hilariously cute...)

- Version C: comes with a DVD (VACATION Theatre drama)
(* This is the one that I am currently eyeing and contemplating cos of the drama, but I'm putting on hold as I have a feeling that SM will bundle it with something else or sell the drama alone further down the road...)

- Version D: comes with a DVD (interviews & MVs)


And this doesn't even include the Japanese version of the album...

And they are so clever not to sell "Vacation" (TVXQ's first theatrical drama) as a DVD box set, but instead put it together inside the repackaged album instead. And thus coercing us to buy the different versions cos of the different "goodies" packaged inside each version...

If one was really fanatic enough to buy everything, that'll be about S$100+++ for just that album alone...

As much as I would like to show TVXQ my support, and to watch, see, hear, and keep all their "goodies", I can't bring myself to make such a illogical purchase...

Yes I am still mentally sound...

Despite being "head over heels" in love with their music...

Meanwhile...

I wait anxiously for my TVXQ parcel to arrive from Yesasia.com...

e rush of the korean craze....

gosh must admit it man... everything that we see on tv nowadays is from Korea... "Stairway to heaven", "Da Chang Jin", "My Lovely Samsoon", now "Goong"...

and everything's making everyone go crazy all over again...

well mainly its e obasans lah... but then there are also young girls going crazy over korean dramas all over again...

that leaves me with one question...

where have all the japanese dramas gone????

i dun even see them in the stores anymore... at least not those by popular artistes...

and all they promote are the korean dramas...

being an avid tv buff, i've basically seen all sorts of dramas on free-to-air tv here... even those that have gone straight to box sets and were never shown here at all...

generally i think that a good and sustainable drama should be less than 20 episodes, ideally it should end around 16, cos usually by then the plot gets too draggy... which is the problem with many korean dramas... they drag and drag in order to make you watch everything, but basically nothing much happens in the episodes after 16, and are just stalling time before the dramatic ending...

for someone who cries easily while listening to ballads and watching soapy dramas, i realised that those shows where the cast (eg female lead) cries every episode will not be able to touch me at all... it gets a bit too regular, too common, so its not strong anymore...yeah we know she has a pathetic life, but do you need to make her cry about her pathetic life EVERY SINGLE EPISODE????

on the other hand, when a male lead that is obnoxious throughout most part of the show, and suddenly shows a softer side by crying so immensely that he is gasping for air, it works for me... my waterworks will immediately start too...

and i think the music helps a lot to create the mood too... even if i dun understand a word of korean, i can still feel the music, and it can make me want to start crying too... but i do realise that most of the songs from korean dramas sound very similar... all very soapy... u hear it you feel like crying...

recently i noticed on tv a advertisement for this group who sings in japanese. the first time i noticed was the way the higher-middle vocal lead Xiah (Junsoo 金俊秀) looked, cos he reminded me so much of Hideaki Takizawa 龙泽秀明, affectionately known to fans as Takky (even both e names have a same character 秀）. having only seen them on tv briefly, cos i was always doing something else when e ad came on, i only know they were called 东方神起, and had an album called "Rising Sun". so i did a search on them, thinking they were a japanese group. in e end to my surprise, they were a korean 5-part harmony acappella group, and can sing in korean, japanese, chinese and english.... and it doesn't hurt that the lead Hero (Jaejoong 金在中) looks like another idol of mine from Taiwan, Roy Chiu 邱泽...

but they are not a new group though, they've been around since the Christmas of 2003. it's jus that there wasn't any promotion or publicity over here. but after checking out their music, i can say that theire vocals are really strong... acappella songs definitely are not a problem, cos they oso have mtvs for the acappella versions of their songs!!! thats a very impressive feat, cos its not cheap to make a mtv, especially when they are shooting on film... not to mention the extra cost to record the acappella versions...

i love ballads... so their pitch-perfect harmonies definitely does it for me...

its common knowledge that usually when you got the voice, you ain't got the looks... but for them it seems to be a different story... cos they DEFINITELY got both...

now i can only say that i am in a craze.... my cousins think i've gone mad... its just one of those things that happens once in a blue moon... i get too bored with routine life, and search for alternative routes to relieve stress or boredom... i indulge in a new group.... and pester everyone i know about it...

trust me its happened before...

and it'll pass...

but not so soon....

cos they can sing, dance, and look too fab for it to be a short fad for moi...

it's just a phase, like how the japanese drama craze was taken over by the korean drama craze...

but meanwhile...
