she is under SM Entertainment in Korea!!!
so strictly speaking, it's a business move to use TVXQ to sell Koda Kumi in Korea...
Not so much in Japan, since both acts are quite popular there already...
And to sell TVXQ internationally in US, etc English speaking countries, since Koda Kumi is already well known in those countries... mainly due to e "Live Earth" concert where she was featured in...
