BoA, TVXQ Named Los Angeles PR Spokespeople
Singer Boa and the male music group TVXQ have been named PR spokespeople for the city of Los Angeles. Mayor James Hahn presented the artists with their appointment certificates at Los Angeles City Hall on June 13 at 11 a.m. (June 14, 4 a.m. Korean time). He also awarded SM Entertainment CEO Lee Su-man a merit plaque.As Los Angeles PR agents, BoA and TVXQ will participate in the “See My LA” campaign, launched by the Los Angeles Tourism Corporation to bolster the city’s stagnated tourism industry, as well as appear in the city’s advertisements. Advertisement boards featuring BoA and TVXQ will be posted from late June at Los Angeles Airport as well as in the city’s subway stations and at famous tourist sites.
